About Me
My name is Max Saltman, and I'm a journalist at CNN, covering international news. I've also written for Harper's Magazine and The Drift. I'm originally from Massachusetts but live in Atlanta. I have a BA in History from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee.

    Right now, I quite like Annie Proulx's short stories about Wyoming and the novels of Charles Portis. I also enjoy cycling and taking pictures with my fiancée's 35 mm camera (which she lets me borrow sometimes). Here is a picture I took in Miami recently:
